I had them several years ago and a well meaning psyco friend told me I needed to put some ointment on them to ease the discomfort. Armed with the name of the stuff I went to the drug store told the clerk she got the stuff and smiled simpatheticly (I thought) when I told her what it was for. I couldn't even wait to get home, the parking lot was almost empty, so up goes my shirt on goes the cream dab! dab! rub! rub! scream! scream! THAT STUFF WAS BURNING ME ALIVE!!!! I got home and into the shower, washing the EVIL! potion off! where is that tube! active ingredient..... some sort of PEPPER juice! The same stuff that was in my bear spray! What fun! "let's get someone to rub a Habinyero pepper into an open weeping hole in their skin"

Never accept a home remidy from an elder! (no it didn't work)

I preached on Hell for the next 2 weeks.

On the brite side they will clear uyp in just a couple weeks if you caught them early. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks for all the well wishes and funny story Ned.

The shingles are on my mastectomy incision (can I write this Trey????) and where they removed a spot 4 weeks ago. I'm edgy, crabby and drugged.

Love you all,

Monalea

Hang in there and enjoy being one of the few people I know that has a roof on her mastectomy incision.

Love ya and I'll send up well wishes.

Kathy,
"one of the few people I know that has a roof on her mastectomy incision."

I loved this statement. May get me a tee-shirt with this saying.

That t-shirt and you are both one of a kinds. How about a bumper sticker or are you reserving that for postier scars?
